Introduction
Little Star ✦Talus is a Star Wars Role-Play (SWRP) sim set in the Post-Legacy era. The year is sometime after 265 ABY, this is at least 100 years after any known canon event, to enable role-players the ability to create unique characters and plot-lines.
We recommend those new to SWRP to quietly observe others role-play before participating. If you only want to observe and explore you must declare that you are Out of Character (OOC) by wearing an OOC observer tag before you leave the Telehub.
While you are OOC you are not allowed to disrupt any active role-play. Please do not ask for help in public chat in an In Character (IC) area, people do find this disruptive to their role-play, instead send an Instant Message (IM).
In order to ensure that everyone's experience on ✦Talus ✦ is a pleasant one there are several established ground rules that we wish you to follow.

Rules
Rules in ✦Talus ✦ are broken into three distinct categories that all players are expected to abide by. Failure to follow these rules can lead to warnings, losses of rank, losses of chat privileges, or even bans.
Above all the other rules is this:
Above all the other rules is this:
Don't violate the spirit of RP.
What this ultimately means is that we understand that at times these rules may fall short of covering every nuanced situation. We have elected to keep simple and clear rules if possible in order to protect both our players and our staff. Don’t look for ways to violate the rules for an advantage, don’t attempt to skirt the letter of the rules while sacrificing the spirit, and ultimately treat others in a positive manner. This is our overarching rule here on ✦Talus ✦, and while we have chosen to establish enforcement guidelines for the other rules on this sim, ultimately if the staff as a whole feels you are not here to make a positive contribution to the community, you will be sent elsewhere.
Story And Setting
- This sim may involve themes of violence, adult language and sexual content. By entering the sim you agree not to hold the sim owners responsible for anything you may experience within the sim.
- By entering the sim, you agree to the rules outlined within this document, failure to comply with these rules will result in removal from the sim for an unspecified amount of time.
- The Star Wars stories are stories of action, adventure, and growth. Everyone wants to play a powerful character, but in keeping with that spirit, this sim requires that you spend time training and learning to present such a character. No one gets to start off, Day One, as a Sith Lord or Jedi Master. If you are confused about how to receive training to obtain such recognition, any of our Mentors can help.
Contacting a Staff Member
Disputes will happen, and sometimes it may require a neutral arbitrator. If you are in a situation that requires a staff member, please follow these guidelines on who to contact:
Faction Leader: In a situation where a dispute is between members of the same group or faction, your first action should be to talk to the Faction Leader as soon as they are available. Faction Leaders are tasked with helping their groups work together, and can handle any disputes within their own faction.
Game Moderator: If a situation involves a dispute between members of two or more groups or factions, a Game Moderator should be called in to make a decision. Game Moderators can act as mediators when they are a part of a faction that is involved in the dispute, but only an impartial Game Moderator should make the final call if an agreement cannot be reached. If a situation within a single faction becomes too much to deal with, a Game Moderator may also be asked to step in with that as well as an impartial judge.
Administrators: If a situation becomes an issue at the sim level or if a player feels they were treated unfairly by a Faction Leader or Game Moderator, they may appeal to the Administration. Administrators will make a group decision about what has gone on and hand down their judgement. This will take a fair amount of time, though, so Administrators should not be relied upon to make judgements for smaller matters where a Game Moderator or Faction Leader will do.
