During a peaceful afternoon, the sewers were erupted with activity. Creatures came out of the sewers, later described to be rakghouls. The creatures emerged and immediately began attacking civilians and infecting them with the plague. It seemed that they honed in on the market place, where several civilians made a stand against them.
Though the civilians took heavy injuries and possible losses, they fought back valiantly and were able to kill the creatures before anymore victims were hurt or worse. Though based on holo recordings of the attack, it seemed that the charge was being lead by a red twi’lek woman who turned out to be a droid mimic, though her identity is unknown at this time. With the creatures dead and the woman as well, a clean up crew came along to remove the bodies and the broken down ship, and those who were injured were treated and immunized right away. After much pressure on my sources we were able to find out about a recent trip of the Talus Jedi. It seems that they were investigating a weapons origin and in the process discovered a lot. When the jedi and company landed on Tython, they were attacked by a tribe of flesh raiders that had made their home in front of cave. With their inevitable victory over the flesh raiders, they pressed into the caves. Within the caves, they found a lost jedi temple, its age is was undisclosed but it seems it housed many treasures. With their rewards in hand, they all left the temple, and headed back to their respective homes. What all was found in that temple and caves, or what the jedi plan to do with it, is unknown but this reporter is curious about their haul. There was a firefight outside of The King’s Ransom where the Vorlon Company mercenaries had taken to settling plantet-side. The very same mercenaries who have taken over the salvage of what remains of the Direlict ship in our space. From outside, it seemed as if their tower being blown up was the catalyst but interviewing witnesses, that was not the case, in fact, it started out as a standard bar fight before getting out of hand.
In the explosive demolition of the tower, there were two alleged Death Watch Mandalorians killed while a third was killed outside and the last was knocked out by another in bright red Mandalorian armor. The Gamorian fighters were wiped out by the rest of the group, many of whom held lightsabers and left one alive but without arms. CDF was on scene as things were wrapping up, investigations pending. Recently a ship had been seen entering the system. Many attempts were made to contact the lone ship but to no avail. The ship seemed to be dead on arrival, but that raised the question how the ghost ship came to rest in our space here. With the lack of communication from the ship, a rag tag group including the fiery Twilek whom had a bounty on her head just recently boarded the ship in an effort to make contact with the captain and potentially scavenge in the chance the ship was devoid of life. Unfortunately the ship was in a very rough state, with a few sealed main passages and droids on standby making traveling through the ship very slow and difficult. The group fought their way through the ships automated defenses, and came across something... Big. It took what would prove to be 4 force users to take the beast down, seemingly reacting more to force attacks than anything else the team threw at it. We investigated as far as we could but only came up on dead ends. Little is known about what was found on the ship when it comes to records as they were destroyed either before or during the raid leaving any information that could have been gleaned from the ship, lost. Now the ship floats in space, as private merchants and salvaging teams take it apart and sell off the materials. After the recent issues with droid kind, the citizens are left shaken and distrustful of the droids in power. Claims that the signal was an inside job are one of many conspiracy theories being passed around. Due to the unrest, X-Three has decided to hold a press conference of sorts to give what assurance he can that he was just as much a victim of the strange signal as the others. The date for the conference will be [Friday the 8th at 5 pm SLT] in front of The Boneyard. Presumably in time for the Medical building's repairs to be complete should they keep to their punctual nature. As seen below, they've even made it top priority to get our medical building's structure back up, stable and restocked. Luckily, the main floor wasn't affected, just storage, office and conference floors. So if you've been avoiding the building for any reason, both droid and organic alike are on staff ready to help out.
